I am a Lecturer at The University of Limerick in the Modern Languages and Linguistics department, teaching upper-level German literature courses.
I work primarily on 19th- and early 20th-century German women philosophers, but also more broadly on German Idealism and Romanticism, philosophy of mind, and social metaphysics. I am currently translating Lou Andreas-Salomé’s Ma; Ein Porträt, while working on a longer project formalizing Salomé’s philosophy on gender and freedom.
I hold a BA and MA in Philosophy from The William H. Miller III Department of Philosophy at Johns Hopkins University, where I also earned a BA in English. You can find my CV here.
